We purchased our first house from John 7 years ago and we’ve kept in touch with him ever since, so when it came time to sell our house, John was the first agent that came to mind. We’d had interactions with other agents over the years, but John always stood out with his calm, friendly nature and his knowledge of the Meadowbank and Remuera area. John and Eliza were extremely professional, organised and helpful during our campaign which made a stressful situation much easier. We really threw John a curveball when we spotted a house during our campaign which was going to auction one week prior to our house. However, as John already had two interested parties, we decided to bring our auction forward a week despite not having a pre-auction offer. John worked quickly to ensure all parties were ready within 2 days for the auction so we would be in a position to bid on the other property that same afternoon. After successfully selling our property in the morning, John volunteered to assist us with a bidding strategy for the auction in the afternoon, which resulted in us buying and selling a property within the same day! Despite this being one of the most stressful days of our lives, John and Eliza made everything run smoothly, which reaffirmed that our decision to list our property with them was definitely the right one. Michael was excellent with his follow up. I met him last August at an open home and he used to call me regularly during the lock down and asked how I was doing. He never mentioned or discussed my intention of selling my house but he knew that it was plan to sell in the near future. I decided in December to list the property and he said there will be lots of houses for sale in 2022. He said that I need to act quickly as prices may go down.
