Steve Wyllie

Steve stood out to me with the way he really listened to what I had to say - my story and what I was hoping to achieve. I received in response great info and encouragement in what he thought could be achieved, exhibiting an appreciation of the market and where I might fit in the market. His communication skills were excellent and timely, including in person, on the phone and via email and text. I always knew what was happening and what I needed to do. I felt consulted and listened to. I felt his rapport and communication with potential buyers was on the mark and very genuine, rather than overly salesy. The reporting I got after potential buyer interaction was equally excellent. I enjoyed excellent discussions with Steve, where I would have an idea or possible path to take, Steve would take that on board and we discussed the best way to implement the next step. I found those discussions beneficial and I was able to trust that I was in safe hands and that Steve was doing his utmost to get the best possible result for me, but also for the purchaser. I was very comfortable to find an integrity in Steve which matched my life philosophy in dealing with people. I saw clearly Steve's absolute enjoyment in his role and being able to fulfil people's expectations. This included being transparent with potential buyers about the state of what is an older house, including providing them with information not necessarily provided so willingly at that stage in the process. Steve only did this after consultation and getting agreement from me. I believe this style made for a cleaner due diligence process, with no surprises. Steve hung in there with me while juggling a multi-offer situation and liaised well with all the parties, resulting in keeping offers still alive and waiting. I appreciated that skill the most, resulting in a quick and successful conclusion after the penultimate offer fell over.
