Chris from Soldon Kapiti recently worked with us to sale our house. It was a renovation that we had worked hard on, while also living in the property, so an emotional sale. It was quickly identified the house was quite unique for the area so people had quite wide ranging valuations. Despite this we had four offers several of which we turned down. Chris worked really well with us - we were keen to sell quickly and that required being realistic about our price expectations given the falling market. He supported us in our decision to use BEO rather than a tender process. He helped us present the house at its most attractive. The advertising was champion - it was honest and clear. And we had a number of people comment that they appreciated that the photos were not wide angle shots that give a deceptive perspective. The selling process was handled really well, with Chris taking account of our needs and concerns. SOK’s pricing structure is a winner too - it is clear they are not out to rort their clients! We listed our Kapiti section for sale with Karl at a time (late Oct 22) when property prices were failing, needless to say our expectations of what offers we'd receive were on the low side.
