As a buyer it is important to remember that the agent is primarily reflecting the interests of the vendor. While our pre-sale questions were answered promptly, due diligence suggests that one get independent advice and feedback when making such a large purchase. Our experience went downhill once the purchase agreement was signed, when we felt as if the vendor's agent forgot about us. For instance when we called to request a pre-settlement inspection, we were given only one window of time to accomplish the inspection since the agent was too busy to help us at any other time. We would have appreciated if we had been passed off to someone else in the agent's team to find another time, but that was not presented as an option.

Excellent communication and answered all our questions about the auction process, was very honest and reassuring.

When our uncle died suddenly in January, once we got over the shock of his passing, we were left with his estate to deal with which included his home on Burwood on the golf course. Sandra also helped walk us through a pre auction offer and an auction that was then bought forward - selling the home after only 2 1/2 weeks and for a price that exceeded out expectations. This was largely due to Sandra's advice on what to do with the property before putting it on the market and her extensive knowledge of the Christchurch market. She is a true professional, with an eye for detail. Sandra also visited us at the house, on our last visit to say our final good-byes to it. She was amazing throughout the 3 months we dealt with her from start to finish - making the process a lot less stressful than we initially expected it to be.
