Rosalind was an agent we met while looking for homes in the Orewa area. I was initially struck by her friendly demeanour, non-pushy attitude and helpful responses to my many questions. I was also in the process of selling my Orewa home and was looking for agent who had great local knowledge, a solid track record and willing to go that 'extra' mile. In retrospect, I could not have been happier to have Ros' working with us to sell my home. Unfortunately, the vast area behind my home was earmarked for the Strathill Development which had begun and the relative peace was interrupted by heavy machinery. Despite this, Ros' worked with her team to put together a great marketing package which generated fantastic interest. We took good advice from Ros to have the home presented as good as possible, "clean and tidy wins the day". And it was also the small things that Ros suggested that created a lot of interest in the home. Of the many that did register an interest, Ros diligently followed up each one to qualify their interest or at least get feedback. This feedback was invaluable to help overcome the pushback from the development. The presentation of the home received overwhelmingly positive reviews but the development was the stumbling block. Despite this, we received multiple offers and with Ros's expertise, were able to get the buyers over the line with an acceptable offer. It should also be noted that we had a few unforeseen, non-house selling related issues happen at the same time which distracted us from the process.
