Throughout our experience working together, Nick demonstrated a strong sense of integrity and transparency. Nick communicated clearly and reflectively. He was very passionate and very committed and has extensive knowledge. At the same time he was very responsive to our ideas, our questions and the emotional process for us of selling our family home of 67 years. We felt very confident that we were in the right hands all the way through the process and believe we could not have achieved a better experience or outcome from anyone else. Our house was, or rather is very unique as it is a very early Warren and Mahoney and first time on the market since being built. There was a lot to think about in terms of presenting its uniqueness to the market. This was done expertly and sensitively in all marketing materials, outlining it's contextual history beautifully. The extensive interest in the property and method of deadline sale required a lot of work with expert negotiation and presentation skills and commitment. We are extremely lucky to have chosen Nick as our agent and couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Unfortunately, our experience as buyers was frustrating. From the outset, we were given conflicting information between the agent and the vendor, which made it difficult to understand what was actually possible. While Nick was helpful initially, communication became noticeably less helpful after the deposit was received. Proposed settlement dates were discussed and agreed, only to be declined only once being confirmed by solicitors. Our final inspection was refused on two proposed dates — one declined by the vendor and another declined by the agent — which forced us to cancel work commitments. Our lawyers advised that refusing reasonable final inspection access was not consistent with contractual obligations. Pre-settlement access was denied, and even after settlement was completed, access to the property was delayed by approximately an hour and a half after legally owning the house. Overall, the process lacked clarity, consistency, and cooperation.

Nick gave us a wonderful viewing experience coloured by his knowledge and passion for the mid century architecture. He was very accomodating in respect of arranging our viewings. Nick was very professional in respect of the fine line of negotiation while still being very helpful.

Due to Nick's interest and knowledge of architecture and architects and with a rather unique house to sell, his experience was invaluable. His knowledge of mid-century design was evident when he could point out many features, details and construction materials along with the rationale behind them - important to a descerning prospective purchase. To us, as clients, Nick provided feedback following each open home, he was at all times respectful, and genuinely enthusiastic about the propsect of finding the right owner for this home. Nick was ably supported by Indi who was equally enthusiastic We certainly feel both performed excellently, achieving a result beyond our expectations thanks to their professionalism and Nick's appreciation of the property. Definately the right real estate to sell this significant property.
