We liked Mike's cheerful yet realistic and open manner. He is slightly cheeky and fun to deal with, and we got the impression that he was happy in his work, and enjoying helping his vendor and us the buyer. We viewed other properties through other agents, and found that Mike was the better person to work with as a buyer, anyway. He was just on to it, helpful, thorough, and didn't seem to take himself too damn seriously. I would work with him again. And though I don't like selling, if I had to, I would talk to Mike first.
The sale of our dads house was, a fairly emotional time for all. Mike made us feel at ease and explained all our options and how it would work, we sold within 8 days. I was amazed. Thanks to all the team for their expertise, advice and great work in general.

We chose Harcourts due to friendship with Ian ( who is wonderful). Unfortunately we cannot say the same for Upper Hutt Harcourts Mike Ledger. Poor communication, excessive commission initially proposed and felt that due to non acceptance bare minimum done on our behalf for sale. Under asking price achieved and disappointing result in this buoyant market. No photo of Sold on billboard or card or flowers to us as is the norm with most sales. No Harcourts agents from any Branch brought anyone around. Very disappointed 😔 and not in line with what was expected.
Mike's communication throughout the process is exceptional, whenever I needed to visit the house he arranged the viewing/appointment asap without any hesitation. I would say the buying process went real smooth. He is so helpful, what I understand from this process is he always tries to get the best for buyers honestly no time waster, and very punctual. I’ve only dealt with Mike, and initially was looking at another home on the market and was very impressed with Mikes follow up after the house viewing and phone discussions. Then after attending McEwens viewing it was great to meet Mike in person. He was super helpful and friendly, and I felt confident in his knowledge and experience. After having a bad experience with another agent recently I can honestly say Mike was nothing but helpful and professional. If I am ever to sell this house it will go back to Mike amd the team most definitely. Thank you
We have had the privilege to not only buy with Team Ledger, but to also sell our family home with them recently too. Mike’s approach to everything was extremely professional from the start. We can’t commend the high levels of communication from both Mike and Scott enough. It’s was always delivered quickly and accurately and with no Grey areas. Mike said it would be like a divorce once our process had finished - he was right!
