We asked Michael to come and appraise our house towards the end of a renovation. We were unexpectedly moving overseas and were not sure whether to rent or sell. When he came the house was in turmoil with decorators, builders, landscapers all mid jobs! He went through our home and could see what the end result was going to be. He was honest and open and not at all pushy around the sell vs rent option. He provided us with good information and insight into the state of the market and the benefits of selling in what we thought may be a slower time of the year. After we decided we would sell, Michael provided us with a list of things he thought would help to achieve a good sale- many of these were small things we would not have thought of in the midst of renovating and it was invaluable help in preparing for sale. He put together various marketing package options, arranged for staging to be done and kept us well informed all of the time. Once the campaign started, we had already moved and so Michael followed up on any outstanding work to be done and kept us regularly updated with progress meetings, messages and a comprehensive weekly report. Leading up to auction date we met with the auctioneer and Michael to discuss how that would run and we watched remotely from the other side of the world! Throughout the whole campaign we were impressed with Michael (and his supporting team) for their professionalism and ease to deal with. On auction date we achieved a sale that we were happy with and so all Michael’s great advice paid off! I would highly recommend using Michael and his team if you are looking to sell your house.
