Michael Fisher

The sale of our property was always going to be extraordinary. For a start it had been owned and used as our family home since 1980. The 121 year old house showed the effects of use, weather and earthquakes over its long life. Michael picked up on the strong emotional connection and our preference not to go through the drama of an auction. Rather the choice was made to market it in it’s as is where is condition as there were good long term tenants living there. As well as age the property the property had a unique charm which Michael made use of in his advertising. He kept us appraised of the mood and comments of attendees at every open home. There were some embarrassingly low initial Offers but Michael said it just needed the right buyer to respond to the online advertising or open homes. Michael had James Ellis stand in when he went on holidays. What he had predicted came true and after several well attended open homes, James presented us with multiple offers. Throughout the sales process, Michael Fisher was calm, cheerful, optimistic and professional. We are immensely grateful for how he handled the sale and his sensitivity to our needs. Praise also for the Harcourts Holmwood team who facilitated a valuable contribution to the final negotiations. Kind regards, Glenn McRostie
