We first met Marlene in July 2025 when we inspected one of her properties and she subsequently brought us through a few more she thought might suit us. Although we didn’t end up proceeding with purchasing at that time, she took the time to understand what we were looking for and kept in contact with us (we are based in Australia), sending through properties that she thought we might be interested. 6 months later, we reconnected to inspect another property that her group was listing. She spent a lot of time with us, making sure all of our questions were answered and she helped us to make an offer that was ultimately accepted by the vendor. In the end, we bought the perfect property for our needs and we couldn’t have done it without Marlene. Throughout the entire process she was warm, honest, inquisitive and accommodating. She made the process of purchasing a property very easy - I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The first impression we had was a warm and very smiley welcome . As we arrived just as the open home was closing we were about to drive off but Marlene was packing up and came to our car and said off course come through the property . No hurry . Take your time . Being our first open home in the area we felt very at ease . And to getaway feel of what lovely people/ community sprit there us in Mangawhai . Loved the house but we’re only just looking at this stage to see if we would like to make this or permanent home after 20 years of holidays up this way . Time went by and we looked at many homes , but eventually came back to this one , felt like we had come home . So here we are 5 weeks later having our first night in our new home . Marlene was impeccable , communicative, warm, kind and helped us feel as ease through the whole process.
