Our experience with Ray White Hamilton this time around was quite disappointing. It was the second property we sold via this agent, but it took a long time to generate any interest in the property despite continually upbeat reports, and even when it did sell, the buyer came via another agency. In the end we were so pushed for time we accepted an offer that we consider was below par, given other recent (and quick) sales in the same street. While we got frequent open home reports it was obvious some of the comments were 'cut and paste', and even when there were no attendees at open homes, comments still indicated 'strong interest' in the property. We could rarely communicate directly with Mark, but instead got his PA. While she was very nice, it would have been appreciated if we could have had direct communication with the agent from time to time, without messages and inquires being passed on and replies delayed sometimes for several days. They have a lot of listings and maybe weren't as motivated as they could have been to get the best possible price for us. It felt a bit like we were dealing with a 'house factory'.
