It was a quick sale. On the market 4 days before signing a contract. However there was a few things NOT disclosed to us PRIOR to signing the contract which should have been. Communication was average, with delays in getting copies of signed contract to us/our lawyer. We had to request when pre-settlement inspection would be 2 days out from settlement as we had not heard, and the owner was there for the inspection too. To top it off the key was left under a bin at handover and there has not even been a Thank you/congratulations card or email on buying the house - surely that's just simple courtesy. It feels as though he has done the bare minimum to sell this house. The Ray White conceirge team have not even followed up after I booked a phone call request with their team either. Overall our experience has not been a positive one.

Our experience with Ray White Hamilton this time around was quite disappointing. It was the second property we sold via this agent, but it took a long time to generate any interest in the property despite continually upbeat reports, and even when it did sell, the buyer came via another agency. In the end we were so pushed for time we accepted an offer that we consider was below par, given other recent (and quick) sales in the same street. While we got frequent open home reports it was obvious some of the comments were 'cut and paste', and even when there were no attendees at open homes, comments still indicated 'strong interest' in the property. We could rarely communicate directly with Mark, but instead got his PA. While she was very nice, it would have been appreciated if we could have had direct communication with the agent from time to time, without messages and inquires being passed on and replies delayed sometimes for several days. They have a lot of listings and maybe weren't as motivated as they could have been to get the best possible price for us. It felt a bit like we were dealing with a 'house factory'.

When selling my father's unit I knew I wanted to deal with Mark and Shannon. They are amazing and kept me up to speed with everything. They are excellent communicators and very professional. They took care of everything lightened my load while sorting Dad with his move to a Rest Home. If you want a professional yet friendly real estate service - talk to Mark and Shannon. You won't be disappointed.

Mark is a very experienced agent and this comes into play if things get tricky. I always felt that Mark was on our side and worked hard to find solutions and push for the best possible outcome for us both in terms of sale price and working towards settlement.
