Karl knew of our tight deadlines to go unconditional on a property we were under contract for, with one of the conditions to sell our current home. We were planning on renovating our house, but really struggled to get tradespeople over to give us quotes. We looked around one house we both liked the look of, just to get some ideas, and ended up falling in love with it! We offered on the house subject to sale, but the vendors were reluctant to have a long wait time. We met Karl and outlined what we were looking for: a pretty quick sale, a good price, and an agent who kept us informed and communitcated without us having to chase for information. We knew at the first meeting that we had found the right agent! Karl arranged a quick listing and photos were taken straight away. The first open home seemed to go well and Karl arranged to come and see us the next evening to present us with an offer. Well, it turns out he had 3! From the first open home, Karl created a mulit-offer situation which got us top bids without any mucking around. The top offer was subject to sale of their own property (in a similar situation to us, they had found the property they loved before considering selling their own), creating a knock on effect. By this time, we had negotiated on the house we wanted to purchase and had an agreement subject to sale. Karl was able to act as agent for our buyers as well and off the back of their first open home, got them an offer. The deadline for our sale was fast approaching. Throughout this, Karl continued running open homes and providing us with feedback from them. The week before our deadline, Karl had obtained a cash unconditional back-up offer for us, allowing us to go unconditional on our puchase. From start to finish, Karl delived on his promises to us. People moan about the fees that agents charge, but for us, Karl 100% earned his commission. He acted in our best interests at all times, kept us informed throught, worked all hours negotiating on our behalf to be able to present us with the best offer he could, fully aware of what we needed. We were able to buy our dream home thanks to Karl!
Karl is very friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable, He helped us through our whole purchasing experience, even when our first offer was not accepted and we made an offer on another property he checked up on us often and gave us advice. I personally felt he went above and beyond what we expected and have experienced with a range of other local agents. We got there in the end made another offer and got our dream home!
