Any vendor can be delighted with an agent when their property sells quickly for a record price. But true appreciation is earned when things do not go as planned, and the sale becomes drawn out and complex. We had previously bought and sold a home with Anne, and later rented another property through Des for six years. So when it came time to sell again, we did not even consider another agency. Team Anne and Emma were always going to be our choice. We were assigned Jorvarn, who quickly organised staging and cleaning for what we hoped would be a straightforward sale of our empty property while we managed everything from overseas. Unfortunately, this was not the case. A LIM check revealed that the previous owners had carried out renovations that, while approved, were never fully consented by Council, something we had missed when purchasing privately. What followed was six months of constant back and forth with builders, engineers and Council. This required multiple property visits, endless correspondence, and significant work well beyond the usual duties of an agent. Through it all, Jorvarn remained unwavering, calm, good humoured, and utterly professional. He answered every email, WhatsApp, text and call, and facilitated all the necessary property access in our absence. Without his persistence, we might have abandoned the sale and returned the property to the rental market. Instead, Jorvarn stood by us, supporting tirelessly, even when it must have been exhausting, until we achieved both Council sign off and a successful sale. In our experience, Jorvarn is exceptional. He is not only highly organised and strategic, but also warm, compassionate, and unshakeable in his commitment over six long months.
