Property sold, which is what we needed.

We were pretty happy working with Jan. She did have good knowledge of the local market and set our expectations well from the beginning regarding current market pricing. Sensible, so that we weren’t expecting too much. She gave us good advice as to what we needed to do to get the property ready for sale. There were a few tweaks that we needed to make to the ad wording to ensure it reflected what a great area we were selling in and all the local amenities. Also we needed to identify why a buyer had commented that the property was “too expensive”, despite it not having a price tag attached. We needed to dig in to this and determine that the auto ad on Homes.Nz had a guide price much higher than we were expecting. Once Jan got this sorted, things progressed better. In a difficult market, we were pretty happy that Jan managed to get us 4 offers by the deadline date and a price that was lower than we were hoping, but still realistic and we were reasonably happy with. Jan had recommended a staging company for us to use and they were flexible to accommodate our timelines and did a great job. Pretty good outcome all around. Thanks Jan for your efforts.
