Heather is the consummate RE professional without any of the trappings of the highpressure style often seen as the mark of successful promotion. Heather takes time and care in checking that you are aware of the package and product on offer, its special features and its options. We did enjoy being able to gain insights from Heather re the retirement range of units and the distinction of the one we had under consideration. it was clear that whilst the unit had been on market for some months we came in at a time when interest was rising. Heather's well practiced signals and nudges re how we might achieve becoming the successful purchaser were appreciated. The one isssue we had which Heather sought to deal with, was that the vendor had not supplied operational details across the functional items we took for granted e.g. sink wastemaster. We have since discovered it pays to check venetian blinds, washing tub taps, below sink waste connections. Heather did advise that we engage a builder to do a warrant of fitness inspection and we relied on our own observations. Our mistake was compounded by a rain event, before we shifted in, which had not been equaled in recorded volume previously. Water flooded from front garden via the Unit front window with minimal damage to carpet. It would not have occurred if we had noted that the vendor had completely covered over the drainage of front garden with toploads of soil and mulch. Our builder has said it might not have been noticed by even an experiened assessor. Our conclusion is that Heather was right nonetheless to have arranged pre-settlement inspection which ensured wastemaster issue was rectified. Overall we feel we have been fortunate to have achieved a highly favourable purchase at a fair market price at the right time. For this we are grateful for Heather's support, advice and managing of due process.
