Hard to believe
We were disappointed with our experience dealing with Heatha Edwards. During negotiations we were advised there were other substantially higher offers on the property and were encouraged to increase our offer. The vendor ultimately accepted our lower offer, which raised concerns for us about the accuracy of that information. We were also advised the property was block work. After purchase, we discovered this was not the case — only a single fire-rated wall is block, not the entire structure. This was a significant detail for us and should have been clearly explained. Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend buyers independently verify all information provided during the sales process.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I I understand how stressful it can be negotiation with competing buyers. Would you like me to get the vendors lawyer to confirm that yours as not the only offer. Nor was it the highest, but vendors are allowed to decide which offer they want to accept, or negotiate with and often that can mean one with less conditions. As a registered builder, you also bought another registered builder on site to assess the buildings. You decided that the assessment as acceptable. At no point did we advertise the flats as all double wall fire rated. When we did the pre settlement inspection you were very happy, especially with the vendors further improvements and the only issue you had after it settled was a broken toilet seat. So I paid for that. Myself.
I do hope your 1st 4 months have been rewarding as property investors.
