My house hunt stretched from Dec 2021 - August 2022. I probably started my hunt at the worst time…prices were peaking and banks were tightening their lending. I could not get a decent loan amount (despite having a hefty deposit in place). At the end of FEB 2022, being unsuccessful at getting the right loan amount, I took a break from house hunting. I decided to reapply for loans again in July 2022 when the CCCFA rules were purportedly to be relaxed. Gil was the only agent who stayed in touch with me the whole time and gave encouragement and suggestions on how to go about solving my loan problem. In early August 2022, I got my loan approved and I was thrilled that the house I liked (and eventually bought) was listed by Gil and Kim. They were both very professional and accommodating to my requests for viewings and walked through the whole sale and purchase process with me.
