When buying your first home it becomes a full time job, we were at our last brain cell when we found Doug who changed the experience from overwhelm and stress too calm and stress free! Justin and I bought our first home with Doug being the agent, he was extremely supportive and knowledgeable. Being through the process 1000x he was reassuring when worry would hit and a phone call away when we were confused. We hit a brick wall with our Lawyer who could have lost our entire deposit simply from not doing their job correctly but, thanks too Doug who helped us consult our lawyer and was the liaison between us and the home owner, having introduced us to the home owner who thankfully gave us grace after such a huge muck up. Doug lifted so much pressure and unnecessary weight off our shoulders, we were expecting our 3rd baby who was born the week of settlement so it was a very heavy and crazy week for us. Doug’s agency is beyond comparable, we couldn’t imagine our journey of buying our first home without him. I would add that it is very important to have an agent that you get along well with and Doug is that guy, he is very understanding of curve balls that life throws! If you know The Most High Lord Jesus Christ then he is a great agent for you as he is a man of faith that loves the Lord. Doug has been a pleasure to deal with and even had some pretty good banter Even with all the roadblocks we had to overcome to getting this property he has been an absolute legend throughout. This being our first ever house, Whenever we needed random information about the process or needed to get clarification from the current owner he has been efficient and informative. He also gave us nemes and contacts for services such as inspectors and insurance which really helped. In the future if I know of anyone needing to deal in the real estate market I will definitely be pointing them in Doug's direction
Doug has been an absolute godsend when it came to buying our first home. We did not choose an easy house for our first home, but from the first open home, Doug has been so supportive, communicative and hard working. He's been doing back-breaking work to not only just sell this house, but help us first-home buyers get the best deal as well, and told us where to go and what to do. He's got some great contacts, a couple of which we ended up using as others didn't get us what we needed.
