Don was recommended by our next door neighbour, Todd Halliday. Don's initial approach as per our wishes, was to show several couples through, that he had on his books. This resulted in 2 offers, both a wee bit low for our liking. Not to be detered Don advised going to the market for a deadline sale which was to our liking, as we did not like an auction option. Don assisted practically around the place, removing 100 or so bricks and advising on the best way to present the property, first for the photography, which was a challenge (all surfaces clean and tidy not even electric toothbrushes on the en suite counter!!) Don then showed several couples around on the first open day. This resulted in a unconditional offer including an offer by the purchaser to make available the 5x9 metre end bay of my workshop and the 3 bay farm shed for 6 months rent free. This will enable Linda and I to easily vacate the house by settlement date of 27th June and store our furnishings until our new home is completed approx 8th August. Obviously, Don did a lot of work in the background with these purchasers both by getting them to lift their first offer and making the deal more attractive to us. Basically he achieved the gold standard of an unconditional offer. The Arizto model of home sales is very attractive with a known fee to be paid compared with others who are a lot more expensive, and then it is plus plus plus when it comes to advertising and auction fees. In all, Linda and I thank Don for his excellent work, and friendship , which reduced the stress when you are trying to downsize 52 years of married accumulated belongings. We will be thoroughly recommending Don and the Arizto backup, and I have been asked to speak to a couple of my cycling club members tomorrow about Don and Arizto. Here is hoping that Don gains another satisfied customer in the near future. Best regards Allan and Linda Wilkinson
