We had a really positive experience working with Dillon to sell our home. He was easy to communicate with, responsive throughout the process, and clearly very motivated to achieve a strong result for us. He had a good understanding of the market at the time and, importantly, took the time to think about the right marketing strategy and approach for our particular property. We had multiple offers in the first week and ultimately sold well above both our CV and GV, which we were really pleased with. Dillon is ambitious, driven and clearly puts a lot of effort into getting a good outcome for his clients. He was well-intentioned throughout and was always willing to have a conversation and work through things with us. Initially, Dillon communicated well and was enthusiastic about selling my property. However, as the sale became more challenging, I felt his motivation and engagement declined. I often found myself suggesting strategies and driving the process more than expected. When I raised concerns, his responses sometimes felt defensive rather than solution-focused. Once an offer was made, I felt the process was not clearly explained and had to research the steps myself. Being told I should have already known what was required felt belittling and raised concerns around accountability. I was also disappointed with the negotiation, as I felt securing the sale became more important than achieving the best outcome for me as the seller. There were repeated practical issues, including lights being left on, the property being left unlocked once, and inconsistent open-home times between his listing page and Trade Me causing confusion for potential buyers and myself and people turning up at the wrong times. I found it notable that Dillon sought feedback from the buyers but not from me as the seller. I also discovered afterwards that information that should have been communicated to the buyers had not been shared. This was disappointing and made me question the value of having an agent if important communication is not adequately managed. I do not believe Dillon is a bad agent, but I found his focus and engagement less consistent when the sale became challenging. Overall, I was disappointed and did not consistently feel that my interests were being represented.

Dillon hit the ground running when he got our unexpected request to view. He accommodated our requests and was super prompt in communicating with the vendors. The sale was signed off within 10 days of our first viewing. Highly recommend.
