Our relationship with Darren Kerney began in May 2021. Having traveled from Otaki to view a new build in Guppy Rd, and arriving early, we decided to browse local agencies. Working our way up Glouscester St, we discovered Harcourts. Whilst looking at the listings in window, a young man ...on crutches and arm in a sling, came out and asked if we would like to come in out of the rain, and whether we would like any help. We told Darren we were hoping to move to Taradale as our son and partner here had a 5 month old baby, and my sister also lived in Ferguson Avenue Westshore. At that point our lifestyle property/business was unlisted. After ascertaining that we were keen to make the move, and discussing our future needs, he arranged to show us several possibilities that afternoon. He then contacted Tony McEwen in Otaki, who we were happy to list with, as we had purchased in Otaki in 2000 a property Tony had shown us. The whole process ran so smoothly, with our Otaki property selling at auction 10th June, and our offer on 2 Webb place accepted on 16th June. We moved in 9th July, and absolutely love our new home, neighborhood and proximity to our son and my sister. Darren made the whole process stressfree for us...got my oven working, when I'd failed! Delivered a lovely gift basket, and called in to visit once we'd settled in. Rob and I would wholeheartedly recommend Darren as a top notch agent and saviour of our sanity! 🤩
