Career opportunities and the exciting prospect of life in a relaxed and picturesque setting was the driving force behind a move across the globe for me and my family when I was a teenager. Life in Whakatane in the beautiful Bay of Plenty was very different from that of my birth country, Holland. It was a character-building experience that has influenced my outlook on life and made me the adaptable and adventure-loving person I am today. A career that has been mostly in sales and marketing I have, in the past, been based in the Waikato and Auckland working predominantly in human resources, the lifestyle health industry and then from 2000 working as a successful real estate agent for Ray White in Hamilton. Several years ago, I relocated to Tauranga to be nearer family and the coastal life that I love, and I’ve never looked back – this is my home. Sinds 2018 I have based myself at Mount Maunganui and successfully sold homes across Tauranga. The extensive and diverse roles I have been successful in, highlight my versatility and strong work ethic – something I was raised to place front and centre of all that I do. What a find!

Selling a home can be difficult enough, even more so when you are not based in the region. Being partnered with Daisy's experience, professionalism and communication skills (and great sense of humour) made this a dream process. Her commitment and flexibility to fit around calls late on a Friday night, keeping us up to date as our eyes on ground and coming to our rescue when keys were forgotten was invaluable.
