I had the opportunity to purchase another property at a time when the Auckland market had changed into very much a buyers market but it was timely for me to move on. Chico did an awesome job at every step of the process in selling our property. Given that we live in Christchurch, Chico facilitated a lot of pre-listing maintenance that was required on the property as it had been a rental for a number of years prior to listing. This included organising new carpet, exterior maintenance and painting, interior painting and minor repairs, waterblasting the driveway, gardening and cleaning. I would have no hesitation engaging Chico again, should the need arise.....or recommending him to anyone looking for a quality agent for their real estate needs.

Chico sold our property in Murrays Bay in 2018. At the time we were not living in Auckland and Chico was amazing. He was communicative at all times, and was fantastic at explaining the timelines and approach to the sale that he recommended. He kept us up to date constantly with how the promotion was going. When Chico originally assessed our house, he had some good ideas on the remodeling I wanted to do - what was worth the time and money, and what wasn't. He researched and presented many recent sales in the area to give us a good idea what our house was worth in the current market. I think one of the key aspects was his realistic pricing of the house. He gave good examples and good reasoning for his estimation of where the market stood. He next clearly explained the process of marketing and laid out a time table which helped me organize the remodelling. He met with us regularly to stay in touch and check on progress. We had one consent issue which he found in the LIM and spent a fair amount of time dealing with as I was unavailable to do so. He had four weeks of open homes finishing off with an on site auction on the last day. In a somewhat softening market, we ended up getting a very good price.
