Brent Irving is a valued member of the Wrightson Rural/Lifestyle Real Estate Team based in Otago.
Well known within the rural sector, Brent brings a broad range of skills and experience to the team. Brent has an extensive background in the rural banking sector, having held roles at Rabobank NZ as an Agri Manager, later leading the Otago branch for a number of years. He also served as the National Equity Partnership Manager, supporting syndicates in New Zealand with some work in Australia. Prior to his banking career, Brent worked throughout Otago with Wrightson as a wool representative, eventually leading the Wool Sales Team and contributing to the formation of the NZ Merino.
He is passionate about helping clients grow their businesses and is a strong advocate for encouraging younger farmers into farm ownership. Brent has built enduring relationships with rural professionals across the industry.
Brent, along with his wife and daughter, holds a shareholding in an equity partnership farming sheep, beef, and deer in Central Otago. This hands-on involvement keeps him connected to the daily challenges faced by farmers and enhances his ability to relate to clients.
He enjoys spending time with family on the farm and remains actively engaged in the rural community.
