I have bought and sold houses and used all the popular chains of real estate companies over the last 35 years.I’m not going to name names but you can probably guess them. I found them all to be fake and manipulative and seemed to follow a formula that the company they trained with had fostered. Brendon was a breath of fresh air. Genuine, down to earth and experienced he was easy to deal with was spot on with the appraisal and managed to deliver a sale over the asking price too. The easiest and fastest sale I’ve had.I am extremely happy with the result and would recommend him to anyone who wants the job done well without all the usual bs.

As attorney for my elderly parent who had to sell his house in Otaki I engaged Brendon at Tall Poppy to list the property. As I lived out of the district I needed to travel to Otaki to arrange. Brendon was prompt, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. At no time did I feel pushed into anything. He considered my needs (this being a difficult time having to sell a parent’s property which was a hard decision also for my parent who had lived in Otaki for a large part of his adult life). I don’t recall a time when a phone call was made that he didn’t get back to me in a short space to time. He was always prepared to go out of his way and nothing seemed a problem. I recall one time on the day of the earthquake in Levin that I phoned him and asked if he could pop in and check the property. No problem, he was right there and called me straightaway to confirm all okay. Brendon did exactly what I asked, he was happy to sell the property as it stood with the end result selling it quickly at a price we were happy with. I hope he and Tall Poppy continue their excellent service in Otaki and maybe next time I sell a house in my district I’ll certainly be considering using Tall Poppy.
