2 major things he didn't communicate with us He did not mention our neighbour, who we sent to him, was the investor purchasing our property at the auction this neighbour had put an unconditional offer of 820k at an auction with Ray White previously which we didn't accept He also had accepted at a later date 10% deposit with previous agent and Alex said he would only pay 5% We also had a clause added at sign up with Alex to negotiate the fee Other companies offered us 2.5% and he said we would negotiate at time of sale For a good sale we would be happy to go higher It was only as I was signing that we called him to ask about the negotiation He replied that we should have told him at point of sale Kev said it was his responsibility to tell us when we could negotiate It was very awkward and embarrassing Our lawyer also found 2 mistakes on document and I received notification of auction on the wrong day 6 days later our lawyer is still waiting for the deposit there was no comparison with him and our previous agent He was not working for us and we are the ones paying him to work for us

I wish he had given me options. Saw the place when it was run down and then brought low offers. It's back on the market within a month with almost $134k more. I told many times I had the funds to do it up and list it then. Just be mindful and ask for all options.
