I was all set to sell right as we went into lockdown, and that just shattered any known expectations of what might happen when we were able to try to sell again. I contacted 3 agents during level 3, to try to get a handle on what to expect in the market, one never replied, one replied three weeks later (although all indications were they were still working as best as anyone could during the lockdown phases) and Tall Poppy head office got back to me the same evening I contacted them. Allan himself was in contact within 3 days and from then things just got better and better. His communication was friendly, honest and prompt - I cant fault it. Having never sold a house before it was nice I didn't have to ask too many questions because Allan explained everything exactly how I needed to hear it. Working under lockdown levels was different from the norm for him also, but he made contact as easy as possible, kept me informed of interest, offers and what the best or worst case scenario might be. He also gave me advice as to what I could think about doing with each offer, and his advice was SPOT ON. I was amazed that even while some media was being very negative about house sales so quickly, Allan remained totally positive and his ability to read the market was totally accurate. The outcome for my sale couldn't have been better, the house was sold in just over a week, in such a unsettled time - and for the best offer possible. Just to be sure Allan also managed to secure a wonderful back up offer, which we didn't need to use but had I had to, I would have been just as happy as I am now. I know I will be telling everyone about my awesome experience with Allan and definitely recommending to anyone thinking of selling that they should save themselves some time and a headache and talk to him first. No one could possibly be disappointed.

Allan was very proactive in getting the listing. At the time we were searching for an agent he was the one that did follow up with me. At the time we weren't ready to list the house but didn't pressure us and we listed a couple of months later.
