We sold our home at a time when the market, and mortgage interest rates, were moving quickly in the wrong direction. As we were moving out of town we need to sell well, and sell quickly. With all these factors in play everyone involved in the sale needed to be on the same page. As with all relationships, this required open, honest, and creative communication. In the end our house sold at a fair price, and once we had buyers the process went smoothly. Initially, when we were still in the very unknown phase of selling, we would have liked communication to be more personal. Some styles of communication are efficient, other styles work better when providing a service that should reduce stress.
