Purchasing my first home via Abbey + Richard was the best experience I could have hoped for. Abbey was super lovely to deal with and refreshingly honest and open when I had questions. In my opinion she went above and beyond when it came to the auction and was by my side during the bidding process. I also really valued the FAQ element of the purchase docs. It was such a clever and re-assuring document and allowed easy and fast access to common questions, which helped with pre purchase insurance or tradie quotations. Elspeth in the office team was also amazing and super helpful with explaining the auction process and things to check beforehand. It's a difficult job choosing your agent but after my home sold, I can happily say I chose well. Abbey and Richard and their team communicated via our WhatsApp group which works really well. Everyone knows what is happening about the open homes, extra viewings or builder's inspections. Their photographer and marketing was outstanding. Abbey and Richard complement each other well and I really felt they were working for me, the seller. They have a great understanding of the local market and after the 3 week campaign, there were 3 registered bidders and on Auction Day, Sam, the auctioneer achieved a great result. Selling your house is very stressful but Abbey & Richard made this less so and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting to sell their home.

I found Abbey and Richard's approach very professional and courteous. I felt in the loop via the WhatsApp communication and phone calls and Abbey was always available to clarify anything that I didn't understand. The added bonus was their great EA who was able to assist with all sorts of things which added another layer of assurance that I was with a team of knowledgeable and professional people. My particular situation for selling required understanding and empathy which Abbey displayed in spades. Abbey's persistence and follow up with the buyers meant that we had a really good sales result in a difficult and uncertain market. I would highly recommend Abbey and Richard.
