As a buyer, the first time we met Real Estate agent Graham McIntyre, was for our first viewing of a home that we successfully went on to purchase. Graham was friendly yet also very professional. He helped us along the tricky road of negotiating but also at the same time professionally looking after the vendors interest. Graham's communication was great, if we had any questions he would promptly come back to us with an answer and he kept us informed along the way. Graham's no nonsense, low-key approach to marketing and sale was hassle free. The price obtained was at upper end of assessment
House was advertised incorrectly for the first month, so few people even viewed. People that did come through were from open homes in same road/area. We provided a list of things that made the house stand out from the rest, the final purchaser wasn't even aware of them - Graham had failed to let her know (or anyone that viewed) know of 'any' of the extras the house had - she had, like us just walked in and fallen in love with it without any work on his part to get the value we were after or should've got for it. Graham also played both my partner and I against each other which was not welcomed in an already trying time and always seemed to come up with an excuse as to why something happened. As his contract was running out all of a sudden we receive a low offer that he urged us to accept without countering too much - of course so he could get his commission. My partner and I both felt and feel in such a great market we were robed of a great sale due to the fact we went with Graham. However the new home owner got a gorgeous home highly spec'd for a steal so very happy for her. Would I recommend Graham in the future , honestly the answer is a straight out NO!

Selling a house during a Covid lockdown etc. was perhaps not the best thing to do, Graham listened to our needs and though it all took a long time, with a few difficulties along the way, Graham achieved a sale for us that made it all worth while. He was at all times positive and professional, with a light hearted good humor when I was stressed.
