Gavin is honest and professional. He told me straight up what he thought our house was worth, and it meant that we weren't getting too excited about what we could buy. Because of our position, we needed to buy before we sold so was imperative we had someone working for us that was honest. Gavin remained professional at all times. He does tend to not over communicate too much, which I found hard, but I understand why. We paid for him to do his job and he will do it with keeping the client in the loop with what information he deems necessary. It's a stressfull process, and Gav took the stress out of this for us, and keep us positive AT ALL TIMES, and was great to work with. We also got the price that we had hoped for. Very happy.

It was fruitful working with Harcourts in the current tough housing market. After going to open homes, putting offers and going to auction for few months with no success, we were lucky to meet Holly and Gavin who were very welling to help us toward our first home. It took Holly to show us two properties to find us the place that ticks all boxes and within the budget. Holly went above and beyond to find and provide all the information we and our lawyer asked for promptly. We met Gavin when we were looking to buy our first property. I remember as a buyer, we thought Gavin did a great job at building the desire to live in the property, as well as talk to us about the future opportunity and how it would satisfy our family and build our wealth. When it came time to putting an offer in, we absolutely thought it was important to put our best offer forward otherwise we would miss out - this is one of the reasons we wanted to use Gavin, and he did not disappoint.... We just sold that property (3 and a half years later), while we did put quite a bit of work into the house, I believe Gavin's ability to get the best price was a huge factor - we sold for over double of what we bought - and there were multiple offers close to what was accepted! He was great to deal with as my wife and I had left Wellington in a rush and he had to take care of a few of the final bits and pieces, so he really did work for us and made life easier. After the experience with Gavin my family is much better off and I would recommend anyone looking to get the best price for their house to talk to Gavin. In a nutshell... other real estate agents mentioned we should expect around $120K less than we received... and we received multiple offers close to what we sold for....
