John was great when we purchased our new home. We fell in love with the property straight away and John made us feel at ease through the entire process of negotiating the sale. We were honest with him regarding our maximum price and he managed to get this offer accepted for us. I felt his interaction with us was honest and upfront and have no doubt he would have been exactly the same with the vendor. Being a local and having grown up in the area, John was very knowledgeable about the location and how the market was faring. As a buyer you always assume the agent is only working on behalf of the vendor but I feel John also worked with our interests at heart and hope it was a great result for both parties. We purchased 4 years ago from John and he was the only choice to sell when we decided to move on. John had a clear plan of action and various tools to help achieve the desired result. Communication was brilliant, fast and and regular and he went beyond the expected call of duty to assist us with fixes, display, 'issues' to assist the sales process. Johns positive and calm approach was one of the key stand outs. As the market became more volatile and we became stressed, John raised our spirits or numerous occasions with a simple phone call. John does not come across as the 'typical' agent and has a relatable approach which was why we felt comfortable buying through him initially and again selling recently. The wider team at Harvey's (Scott and Paul) were also great!
