As a casual Landlord I contacted another Real Estate and they were rude and not interested in my business as they were too busy. I then contacted LJ Hooker who were a breath of fresh air, happy and a pleasure to deal with. Sandra had excellent communication and found us great tenants. Sandra was driving past our property and saw a car there one evening. Knowing the property was empty she thought that was odd, checked it out to find my husband had arrived and didn't have keys. Sandra popped back to the office and dropped keys back to him. Amazing service and wine will be coming her way when I am next in Matamata. Would recommend LJ Hooker for Renting and Selling, it is so refreshing to deal with people happy to be at work and do a great job.

We recently had to deal with significant tenant damage at one of our rental properties. Sandra, our property manager and the team at L J Hookers were amazing! We knew that we had to act quickly to fix the damage and get the property back to its former state so that we could rent the house out again. Thinking we would have to source lots of different trade's people ourselves was quickly resolved! Sandra had already engaged with a string of local trades people to carry out the repairs, get quotes and time frames to the get the property back to a rentable standard. She was amazing! Her communication with us throughout this whole ordeal was outstanding. She would always let us know what was happening and when. Sometimes she was calling or texting daily to bring us up to date! We felt completely at ease, not an easy feeling when one of your homes has been damaged significantly. She handled all the insurance claim work, and even handled all the trades and repairs. She even helped source some replacement products at better rates than we could! Her local and property management knowledge was also really appreciated and that she had decent, reliable trades people she could call on to get the work done quickly! We found the whole experience far easier knowing that we had a property manager who knew what to do and when. We would not hesitate to recommend Sandra and L J Hookers to any prospective landlords out there.
