Hi, I am Anna Skeer and I live on the picturesque slopes of Pihanga overlooking Turangi. I chose to move here permanently six years ago to raise my family after having worked in tourism around the world. Here the people are friendly and welcoming and I love the lifestyle of Turangi with easy access to the Ruapehu Ski areas, Tongariro National Park and Southern Lake Taupo. When I’m not in work mode I love to go skiing at Whakapapa with my family during the Winter, and in Summer I relish the opportunity to go horse riding taking in the spectacular views over the lake. I love that I can explore these outdoor playgrounds with my whole family. Whether you want to live here permanently or own a bach here I share your passion for the Southern Bays area of Lake Taupo. Coming from a background in the wine and travel industries I have had an exciting and varied career. From serving wine to the London Wine Society to skydiving over the Great Barrier Reef it has been anything but boring.
