•Chris did everything you would expect of an agent to do, although I was not the vendor, Chris kept the communication clear and open throughout the process. Upon being advised the keys were left in the letter box for me to then take over the house on settlement day, I was in the house and the vendors had turned up advising they still had not moved everything out, which was incredibly awkward. Towards the end I was a little disheartened that I was left with chattels (not noted in the agreement) that the previous owner did not remove after I asked the agent several times whether the vendor would be removing the items (a spa pool), this was not removed and was told by Chris they could place it out on the road with a 'for free' sign on it which was poor taste. Discovered why the washing machine was apart of the chattels because you couldn't get the washing machine out the door (door was made smaller in past renovations) hence discovering the dampness in the laundry (builders report) due to the window being removed because that was the only way the washing machine could get in or out, and was never weather sealed after the fact. I was also dismayed that I moved in to an absolute stench of cat pee that has resulted in me needing to rip the carpet up as it had got into the floor boards, on reflection the smell had been masked by a diffuser in the open home and pre-inspection, when I advised the agent of this, they advised the cat that lived in the house always used the litter box and that I could google on how to remove cat pee. Other than that, it is clear that I was the buyer at the end of the day and not the vendor.
This is our second property we have sold with Chris and Jaime, they are fantastic at what they do, very honest, reliable and knowledgeable about their industry. They have been awesome with everything they have done for us, kept us ontrack and made the sale so stress free which has been hugely appreciated
