After growing up over the hill in Cambridge, Mel moved to the sunny Bay of Plenty and has lived in the Tauranga area for over 20 years, a location she knows very well. After a long career in vet nursing and more recently in the property division of the Tauranga City Council Mel has decided to progress her career into property management. Mel's previous roles have given her a lot of transferable skills to enable her to succeed in the Property Management industry. Mel is excited to be part of our large Property Management team at Harcourts in Third Avenue. She is determined and eager to not only be a top Property Manager, but also holds in high regard the importance of great customer service and communication for her home owners, tenants and work colleagues. Mel's main focus is building trusting relationships which will continue to grow and enhance her portfolio, something she holds with pride. Rachel Marsh is the Operations Manager for Harcourts Tauranga’s Property Management Division. She was born and bred in Tauranga and knows the area like the back of her hand. As Operations Manager, Rachel is excited to grow our portfolio while also working to ensure our existing clients are 100% happy. She is confident in offering clients the very best advice on any property management matters and is constantly reviewing operating procedures to ensure we are offering our clients top service which is what they deserve. She is continually keeping up to date with pending legislation to ensure our staff and clients are ahead of the game. Prior to working as the operations manager, Rachel spent 6 years in front line property management. She has a comprehensive understanding of all things tenancy related and loves seeing a great end result with both the owners and the tenants satisfied. With a previous background in accounting, administration and market research, Rachel has transferable skills enabling her to excel in the fast paced environment of the property management industry. She understands the importance of communication and has an open door policy for tenants, owners and staff to work through any situation.
