Felt misled and unsupported as a first-home buyer.
As a first-home buyer purchasing on my own, I expected clear communication, care and follow-through. Unfortunately, I felt unsupported and taken advantage of during and after this purchase. Before settlement, I repeatedly raised concerns about a noticeable smell throughout the property. It was agreed in the sale and purchase agreement that the home would receive a full deep clean and professional carpet clean before I moved in. The vendors and agent had weeks to arrange this, yet it was left until the day of settlement. What was completed appeared to be a quick wipe-down and mop rather than the thorough deep clean agreed to. I was later told that a clean carried out months earlier was considered sufficient, which did not reflect the condition of the home at settlement or what had been negotiated. After moving in, I discovered further issues, including a bathroom extraction fan that was not working and did not remove steam, as well as a non working heat pump, the home remaining unusually cold despite it being run constantly. These were significant issues I would have expected to be identified, disclosed or addressed before settlement. I also later became aware of concerning information about a previous renter, who has had reports of methamphetamine use - (and which ben stated it was owner occupied but it was not.) Once the sale was completed, I felt there was very little interest in helping resolve these issues, despite the agreed cleaning terms not being properly fulfilled. As a young, single first-home buyer, I relied heavily on the professionals involved and expected stronger advocacy and transparency. The process may have been efficient in getting the sale completed, but my overall experience left me feeling that completing the transaction mattered more than ensuring I received the property in the condition agreed. I would not recommend this agent to another first-home buyer who needs careful guidance and genuine post-sale support.

Excellent service with fast turnaround!
Working with Ben was a dream! We were nervous about selling our home whilst being out of the country but Ben made the process so easy for us. He was excellent at keeping in touch and giving us regular updates. His ability to turn the process around from listing to sale as quickly as he did, in a tough market was amazing.
