Having personally bought and sold multiple properties - including a lifestyle block - Kara brings valuable firsthand experience and empathy to every transaction. With over 12 years of experience in the real estate industry, Kara’s background spans a broad range of areas, including administration, marketing, advertising, design, accounts, training, and compliance. This comprehensive skill set gives her clients a distinct advantage in the market. Beyond real estate, Kara is a proud mum of four adult children and a doting Nana to eight grandchildren. Family and community are at the heart of everything she does. She’s been an active committee member for local after-school programme, netball club, and A&P show, and she thrives on staying involved and making a difference. Kara’s community spirit extends to her deep involvement with the Otaki Women’s Community Club (OWCC), where she was nominated Treasurer in 2025. She also plays a key role in the Market Group, which organises the popular Otaki Market, the Kid’s Market, and other local events. In 2024, the Market Group was proud to receive the BSI Award for Workplace Culture in Small Business under 10. In 2025 Kara initiated a Sewing Group as a sub-group of the OWCC, Kara’s vision of creating and designing flags that can be used to advertise the Market also includes other creative activities and adds a social element to the group. A passionate advocate for sport and recreation, Kara is also an experienced gymnastics coach. Her background in coaching, teaching, and sales gives her a natural ability to motivate, organise, and adapt to any situation with ease. Kara donates her time at Levin Gymnastics Club, coaching the recreation gymnasts. With her experience assists in mentoring, supporting and training the recreation coaches. At home, she enjoys time with her beloved pets, a cat and a re-homed dog - often found enjoying beach walks together, tennis ball in tow. Kara brings empathy, energy, and unwavering dedication to everything she does.
