Great team work.

In the initial interview I thought Ben had a good grasp of what was happening in the market at the time. He convinced me to go with an auction so that the price would be more accurate with the current market. He appeared to want to get the best price for me. This was evident at the final stages as he negotiated a favourable price on my behalf. After the initial meeting I was told that the photos would be done that following week and the house would be advertised soon after that. However, it took nearly 4 weeks to have the house put on Trade Me and one more day to have a sign put up. During this period the lack of communication regarding the progress made this time quite stressful. I appreciated Ben’s colleague Michelle Sunderland’s friendly and open communication after Open Homes as well as her detailed reports. Also Ben’s administrative assistant, Laura, was supportive and efficient as she kept me informed of Open Home times and other details. An anomaly with the title was later discovered by my lawyer which therefore influenced the auction as the title was now deemed defective. I asked for another meeting to see what our next step would be. Ben was very positive about keeping up the open homes and viewings. This gave me peace of mind that we could work through this new challenge. This was proven to be right as we had an unconditional offer within a couple of weeks.
