Real Estate Agents considerate of our needs with the experience to help guide us through the sale

Before signing Phil and Adam Mitchell, we read their Harcourts information pack and took from this the emphasis placed on the importance of choosing your agents. Being our first ever market listing (we sold our first home in Glenfield privately in 2004), we did not really know what to expect so we then took the opportunity to hold discussions with 4-separate REA teams before choosing our agents. Phil and Adam Mitchell were our team of choice. Interestingly, all agents had an expectation to sell our property in Mairangi Bay within the same range so from the outset we had high expectations for the sale price. However, things such as a rapid change in house valuations (we saw our bank valuation go up and then down again by $100k within 6 months), and a sudden flood on the market from like-minded vendors, were for us quite distressing. What we appreciated with Phil and Adam was their open and honest communication and patience with us throughout the process. After a period of holding open homes each Saturday and Sunday, they met our need to return to Sundays as a day of rest and for worship of God in church. With an incredibly competitive market, they helped gently nudge us to make realistic decisions. On the day of moving to our down-sized house, Phil presented to us an unconditional cash offer.
