Then this house came on the market and she helped us with acting fast and making the right decisions. In the end the deal was there only 4 days after the first viewing. These are three things that are very hard to find yet so important when trying to sell (or buy for that matter) your home. These are all three things that Lisbeth, who was also recommended to us (so we know it is not just us) has in spades. We all know real estate is serious business but at the same time is a bit of a game. Unfortunately, there are a number of people out there that are trying to not play by the rules. I can assure you that Lisbeth is NOT one of them. From start to end of our sale process, Lisbeth was not only open and honest with us but was also totally on the mark with almost every facet. Whilst our house did not sell at auction with only three weeks of marketing, as seems to be the trend at the moment, it sold with a good solid result well within the timeframe we expected. It seemed almost trivial at the time, but one of the highlights of the whole experience was at the last moment of a successful sale, the leading purchaser got cold feet. Latterly the same day, and without even telling us about the drama going on in the background, Lisbeth pulled the elusive rabbit out of the hat and closed the deal with another party who had previously pulled out of the race. I have no idea what she said to the ultimate purchasers, and no need to know, but I am sure that they appreciated Lisbeth's honest open and friendly approach and can’t tell you how much pressure came of the entire process having her with us through our journey. We are now using Lisbeth as a buying agent to help us find a new home and I know she will be one of the first people we call when it comes time for us to move on again or have any friends or family looking for a recommendation.

When my partner and I first met Lisa, we knew that the house we had been to see was not the one for us within the first 5 minutes. We nonetheless stayed for a further 45 minutes (much longer than the allocated viewing time) talking with Lisa as we found it so incredibly easy to do so. Our first impression was that this was someone who wasn't concerned in pushing their brand, but someone who was authentically invested in putting people into places that worked for them. We discussed the local area, our expectations, our house-buying journey to-date, Lisa's recent pottery hobby, and our families. Upon leaving this property, Ema and I both likened Lisa's friendly and caring approach to that of my own mother, unbeknownst to us we had just the met the agent who would eventually sell us our first home. In the action and excitement of viewing, putting an offer in, completing due diligence, and going unconditional, Lisa was a guide and teacher to us as much as she was an agent. Lisa provided reliable counsel, a consistently honest approach, and was approachable and transparent with us at all times. Lisa was always up for a question, whether serious or seemingly silly, and always gave us the time and space to debate a point, or challenge something (and we did this as often as we possibly could). In the end, we're both really thankful to have had Lisa be the agent we got to work with. Lisa was a truly lovely person to deal with, and in our experience, the best Harcourts agent in the Albany/Unsworth Heights/Totara Vale location without a doubt.
