From our very first meeting to the day we signed the Sale documents, Brian Childs impressed us with his approach, knowledge, and professionalism. Most importantly, he explained the approach he would take in marketing our property and tailored that to our comments on the property and our needs. It was important to us (as it is for any client) that we didn't get "marketing speak," but received real information about his strategy, exactly what he would do and when, and the value to us of those actions. He did not rest on his laurels, the size of his company, or compare himself to any other agent, but focused on what he could do to serve us the best. His fees were clear and straightforward, and were not over-inflated as with another agent (who miraculously found they could drop their fee by 50% when they learned there was competition for our sale). The marketing package in particular appealed to us, designed for 2021, and was appropriate to the property and potential purchasers. The inclusion of full staging of the house in that marketing package was a good selling point for us, and transformed the house. During the sale process we received regular updates on potential buyers and their comments about the property, and at all stages we felt as if we knew what was going on. When we had an issue with the property, Brian found the solution. At all times he showed integrity, understanding of the market (both purchasers and vendors), and responsiveness. From the first Brian was professional, personable and highly competent. From the interview onwards he gave us the best advice on how to sell, quickly and effectively, how to prepare practically with all the relevant time frames eg LIM’s, inspections etc. all necessary information in order to be fully ready for sale!
