Wide boy aura but honest and professional in every way
Matt was well informed about the property, although there were a couple of exceptions, both I think due to the vendors and not the agent. He was always prompt to follow up on any issues and while acting for the vendor was also clear about what should be an industry standard once the sale was unconditional. He was very thorough on the walk through once the property went unconditional, which I appreciated as I would not have identified some of the faults he spotted. He has stayed in touch to ensure that the settlement went ahead without problems. He has also been helpful post-settlement by offering contact and advice on alterations, which is above and beyond what we would expect. Matt takes his role as an Agent very seriously and wants to build long term relationships with Vendors and Buyers. We would work with him again.

Excellent communicator
After many years in Property investment we have dealt with many agents, some good, some better and some bad. Matt Hourigan brings a degree of professionalism, good judgement, and a standard of communications that sets him apart from the rest. He also demonstrates a solid understanding of the investment principles that underly any property transaction. There is absolutely no BS about this man. He thinks before he speaks and what he says can be relied upon. Real Estate awards mean nothing to me but in this case we are not surprised that he finds himself occupying the number one spot with, what is in all our dealings over the years in both commercial and residential real estate, a top flight company. Matt determinedly sought and met our target price in a challenging market. His high energy, enthusiastic, yet always calculated and careful approach, made us confident that he would produce a result. In the end when all is said and done results matter. Matt Hourigan gets results. That’s why we engaged him and he delivered. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone contemplating selling or buying what for many people is their most important investment.
