We had signed up for another agency and had 10 open homes. The campaign was slow and we were receiving low ball offers. Our agent then quit her job and we were left without an agent and were incredibly deflated. Karen had sold the house across the street from us, so we got her in knowing that she was familiar with our area and had success in the past. Right away she understood our situation and had faith that she could sell our beautiful home. Bayleys worked as a team and rather than having just one agent, we had a large team that worked together and supported each other. Karen and Shelley (the dream team) sold our home within two open homes and for a fair and reasonable price. If we sell our home in the future, we will be signing up for Bayleys again. We have purchased and sold a significant number of properties over many years but never before have we encountered real estate agents who were so genuine in listening to what we really wanted to achieve, and keen to work alongside us to achieve a positive outcome. We originally purchased through Angela when we arrived in Tauranga 11 years ago (her first sale!). Since then we have referred several close friends who have all been thrilled with the outcomes they achieved. Subsequently Angela and Nick assisted us to firstly sell our initial property, and then in 2024 to also sell our second property. The advertising/open home/sale process and auctions for both properties were about as stress free as anyone might hope for, and the excellent sale price achieved was well in line with their initial appraisal and our own expectations.
