From the first meeting with Alice she was obviously incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, and in our case in selling a home at the upper end of the market in terms of price, aware of the best methods of selling such a house. I think what impressed us in the first meeting was that Alice is a great listener. She took on board our particular needs and foibles and worked around them. This is not to say that she didn't offer sound alternatives to any of our ideas. Alice's attention to detail, her ability to keep in touch and respond to questions in a timely manner, are, we believe, second to none. Over the past 40 years we have dealt with more than 40 real estate agents. Alice stands head and shoulders above all in our experience. We would recommend her most highly as a highly experienced professional agent who makes the sale of a house a positive (almost fun) experience.

Alice came to appraise the value of our property, and knowing we were looking for something larger for our growing family, she assisted with a private showing of a property she thought would be perfect (it was!). She then was able to work with us to put in an offer, subject to the sale of ours. Her friendly, positive, knowledge of the current market, and honest advice was super helpful and we knew we were in good hands! We then had an offer accepted and we then needed to sell ours quickly! She worked with us to plan the best sales approach and her communication and professionalism was great, and resulted in a really good turnout to open homes. She worked above and beyond to get the best result for us (and when things became quite stressful, she was able to articulate the options and work through best strategies), which meant we did end up achieving a sale, and were able to get into our dream home. We were referred to Alice by our daughter who had just sold her cottage through Alice. She was so happy to get about $100,000 more than they expected. The market had cooled a little when we sold and we didn’t live in Dunedin so Alice organised all the respective tradespeople we needed and made many sound recommendations. Her marketing skills were excellent and we were always kept informed. Not many agents actually work so hard for their vendors but she really did. Alice was a delight to deal with in every way with respect to our purchase.
