With over a decade of expertise in hospitality management prior to this role, I developed my people, communication and organisational skills, and also my leadership qualities. About Priya

Luck always seems to find me wherever I am. I’m ever so grateful to have received a ‘golden chance’ which is the role of Property Manager at Barfoot & Thompson Onehunga. This is a busy and challenging position that gives me the freedom to demonstrate my skills and abilities. Let me share the story of my journey with you! After completing a B.Tech in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, I started work with Five Star Properties in the hotel industry. Five years after that I diversified into retail, and having gained a solid understanding of the market, I then opened my own retail business in and around Lucknow, India. Four years ago in 2018, the opportunity arose for me to come to New Zealand to complete my Post Grad Diploma in Business Enterprise. Once completed, I began a career in the customer service industry. I then moved to Auckland and started work as a St Johns Medical Alarm Customer Services Representative. This gave me the chance to get to know the local community and was a great introduction to the Kiwi culture. Beginnings are usually scary and endings are usually sad...but it’s everything in between that makes it worth living. Excellent right from the start right through to when we got the house.

Met Jayden at a viewing the day before the Lifford place one and from there we got an idea of the kind of person he was and had a good feeling we would be successful looking for a property with him guiding us through. The morning we met Jayden at the Lifford place viewing he was a good vibe and communicated well and really down to earth also respectful. Thank you again to the Barfoot & Thompson for helping us out. Gets results.

Max is a great communicator who keeps us in the loop. He has got to know us well and therefore we trust him to handle things on our behalf the way we like it . Gets great results finding tenants promptly and sorting issues quickly. His market information is usually spot on .
