#1 Small Property Management Office, South Auckland Region, to end March 2023 I've always had a passion for real estate. I bought my first property at age 22 and renovated it throughout, designing a new kitchen and bathroom and giving it a fresh coat of paint. My speciality is rentals; being a landlord myself, and having been a tenant for some of my life, gives me a valuable perspective. I joined Barfoot & Thompson in 2017 as a Property Manager and in 2023, I was promoted to Head of Property Management at the Manukau branch. Barfoot & Thompson has an excellent reputation in the property management sector which is what attracted me in the first place. Prior to real estate, I worked in banking and finance. I learned the value of excellent communication and organisation, time management, multitasking, listening carefully, and developing the ability to act quickly when required – all essential in my property management roles. I also have hospitality training. What I love most about Manukau is the cultural make up, and the different types of infrastructure; it has commercial, industrial and residential buildings, and it's always changing. My philosophy is to treat people how I like to be treated. My proudest moments as a realtor are when I receive compliments from Barfoot & Thompson customers.

My working life began in customer service and as I grew in the role, I had the privilege of becoming a team leader, guiding and motivating my colleagues to deliver the best possible service. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring hiking trails, discovering new places to eat and I love to travel and encounter diverse lifestyles. I also like to spend time with my fur babies, Lancome and Rolls! Whether I’m working with our tenants or landlords, my customer service skills together with my bright smile and bubbly personality helps build long-lasting connections. I love making our customers happy. Before I applied for the role of Property Manager at Barfoot & Thompson Manukau, I’d heard through the grapevine that if you had to work for one real estate company let that be Barfoot & Thompson. The supportive, positive culture and the training that’s provided for staff is exceptional - definitely creates a pathway to success. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and Event Management, and it’s these qualifications that led to an event coordinator job where excellent organisational skills, multitasking and attention to detail were essential - as they are now, in my current role in the Property Management field. With further study, I added a Certificate of Patisserie from AUT to my qualifications hence my interest in the fabulous cuisines that come with the great cultural mix of Auckland city. I’m completely at home in Manukau city having lived here all my life. I like to spend time with family and friends when I’m not working and I am an avid BFT goer.
