We always thought if we were selling our house we'd just sell privately, but opted to sell via Mike as it would make the whole transition easier given we were buying a property he was selling and gave us a single point of communication between all relevant parties. As it happened we listed just as the market turned sideways with the new credit reforms and our sale did take a lot longer than we had hoped.
