Debi Pratt was my agent for the sale of my property in Sumner. I requested Debi after being recommended her. Debi's communication throughout the entire process has been awesome. Outside of this sale, my work requires me to travel and my time has been limited so I wanted an agent who would be stress free and would do the best for my sale. She has made this process straight forward, efficient and got the job done. Debi's communication was exceptional - her turnaround time was quick, always answered all my calls, texts and emails. Debi's profile is impressive, as soon as we chose her as our agent I felt we had made the right decision. She is friendly but up front and a great communicator. Sudden lockdown was a bit of a glitch, with her knowledge and guidance from start to finish meant that we made all the right decisions along the way which lead to a fantastic result. Tim was mostly available for questions, but sometimes didn't answer or forgot. Tim during signing the 'Safe Trading' documents told me 'Don't over think it, just sign it', which is the worst dodgy advice anyone can give you. While we are discussing that, Tall Poppy require you to sign (required if you want to put in a formal legal offer) that "The salesperson and their associates seemed well-informed, helpful, fair and candid" (even if you don't think so) and there is another clause saying "transaction voluntarily and without duress", but you have been put under duress to sign that document if you want to put in a legal offer. Not happy Tim tried to reduce the pre-settlement inspection from our legally entitled test of chattels to just a 15min 'look thru'. Our lawyer was lost for words. Overall I would not recommend Tall Poppy. P.S. The lock box is still waiting in the letterbox for pickup after nearly 3 weeks.

My husband and I decided to sell a rental property we owned in Christchurch and after reviewing the Tall Poppy website, I selected Debi's profile and contacted her for an appraisal. I also contacted another company's agent for a comparison. Both women were lovely, they provided a very professional and prompt service, and their appraised range/value of the property was similar. The Tall Poppy fee and marketing package was significantly better than the other company which was a big tick for TP. But there was something about Debi that I just loved from the beginning, she impressed me as being someone that I could trust to get the job done….and I was right! Her knowledge of the market was obvious from the outset, but it was her approach and management of the process end to end that blew me away. We live in Wellington, so everything was done over the phone and by email. Debi didn't miss a thing, she was so on to it and absolutely went out of her way for us. She's very organised and proactive, she has great contacts that she called on at short notice to help get the house ready for sale. The house went on the market in early autumn, and everyone was telling us that prices had softened and sales had slowed. Debi worked hard from the outset and as a result had the house sold in a week after one open home, and with multiple offers. Debi’s attention to detail and customer service is second to none, she gave us excellent advice throughout the process, and I can’t recommend her highly enough to any prospective buyers or sellers. The woman is amazing, call her, you won’t regret it
